Originally known as Khatori Lash, the brand evolved and rebranded to reflect a bigger vision of helping both clients and aspiring lash artists feel confident, skilled, and empowered.

Khat Lash was created by Kenya, a licensed esthetician who discovered her passion for lash extensions while attending esthetics school. What began as a small lash studio in her apartment suite quickly grew through dedication, creativity, and a commitment to quality. As demand increased, the business expanded into a salon space and eventually developed into a full scale lash studio serving clients in Lisle, Illinois and the surrounding Chicago area.

Today, Khat Lash operates from a private office training studio where the focus has expanded beyond services into professional lash education and certification programs. The studio provides hands on lash training, mentorship, and advanced techniques designed to help aspiring lash artists build successful careers in the beauty industry.

Before building her lash brand, Kenya worked throughout Chicago as a professional makeup artist specializing in bridal and special event makeup. Her experience working with clients on their most important days helped shape her eye for detail, beauty, and confidence building transformations.

While esthetics school introduced her to the world of lash extensions, it was education that truly became her passion. Kenya later completed the esthetics instructor program where she developed a love for teaching and mentoring the next generation of beauty professionals.
